Microorganism

MICA Advance

MICA Advance is a new - generation rapid microbial detection system. This technology combines the reliability of traditional culture methods with the analytical efficiency of rapid microbiological methods (RMM).

Based on the analytical principles of traditional culture methods, MICA Advance utilizes advanced optics & mechatronics systems and machine - learning algorithms to identify and count microcolonies in the early stages of cultivation, enabling laboratory users to achieve automated and high-flux microbial determination.

MICA Advance Legionella

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

  •  Same procedure as ISO 11731 (CFU/L).
  • Detects all serogroups of L. pneumophila.
  • Result after only 48 hours of incubation, traditional methods require 10 days.
  • Limit of Detection: 1 CFU / L
  • No confirmation required.
  • Up to 500 tests per 8 hours.

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

  • Filterable and non-filterable matrices
  • Result in 1 day only for filterable samples, against 5-9 days with the standard method
  • Result in 2 days only for non-filterable samples, against 10-14 days with the standard method
  • Same procedure as the standard method
  • IFU No. 12: 2019
  • No confirmation test needed
  • Up to 250 analyses per 8 hour period
  • Non-destructive method
  • Limit of detection: 1 CFU / per membrane

MICA Advance E. Coli

MICA Advance Alicyclobacillus

MICA Advance E. Coli

  • Detects exclusively Escherichia coli (E.coli)
  • Procedure based on the standard method , ISO 9308-01 with automatic detection
  • 6 hours of inubation only , compared to 24 hours with the standard method
  • Up to 500 analyses per 8 hour period
  • No additionnal confirmation required
  • Limit of detection: 1 CFU* / filtered volume

Application

Legionella testing: cooling water, air conditioning systems, hot water systems, swimming pools and spas.

Alicyclobacillus testing: fruit juice, flavored waters, other fruit drinks, raw materials (Purees, Hydrolats)

MICA Highlight

MICA Highlight is a new - generation rapid microbial detection system. This technology combines the reliability of traditional culture methods with the analytical efficiency of rapid microbiological methods (RMM).

Based on the analytical principles of traditional culture methods, MICA Highlight utilizes advanced optics & mechatronics systems and machine - learning algorithms to identify and count microcolonies in the early stages of cultivation, enabling laboratory users to achieve automated and high-flux microbial determination.

MICA Highlight Total Viable Count

  •  Cultural method with results in CFU
  • Result after only 24h on PCA and TSA, 48h on SDA and 72h on R2A
  • No consumables required other than membrane and agar
  • Up to 50-80 analyses per 8-hour period
  • Non-destructive method
  • Limit of Detection: 1-5 CFU / membrane

Application

Total Viable Count: drinking water, process water, cleaning water (Bioburden testing of medical devices) and personal care products testing.

MICA Pseudomonas Aeruginosa

MICA is a microbial detection system based on optics & mechatronics systems, microbial tagging, and machine-learning. It can accurately identify and count microcolonies in short time, improving the efficiency and accuracy of detection.

  •  Result after only 24 hours of incubation, traditional methods require 2-7 days.
  • Same procedure as ISO 16266.
  • No confirmation required.
  • Non-destructive method
  • Limit of detection: 1 CFU/per membrane

Application

MICA Pseudomonas enumerates Pseudomonas aeruginosa in water (Bottled waters, Carbonated natural waters.
